Saturday (1/18) All I need is to add Elvis Presley singing "Get me to the Chapel on time" while you're reading this post. The Big Day has finally arrived... In less than 8 hours our baby girl was gonna go from a Miss to a Mrs. After a year of planning and sometime stressing the day is finally her. We're so excited for Pamela and Kaleb. They are so great together. January 18th, 2025 is all about Pamela and Kaleb.
!!Warning Will Robinson ... this post might be on a photo overload
The day was bright and sunny but chilly and the wind, OH MY!. The day was exciting and scary. Did we forget anything, will the vendors show up, will they be on time, will the food taste good and,,,, etc etc.
Some of the girls were picked up at 8:30 to be transported to the venue by Vega Transportation. Reasonable rates and ready to run errands where ever we need her to go. She even brought her needle and thread if there were clothing malfunctions. Lori is also a quilter, and seamstress. She has lots of talents. Lori Vega picked up the girls coffee, then back out to pick up the boys at 11:30 and one of the wives and went back out one more time to pick up another wife since they'd all be riding back to the hotel together at the end of the evening. Again Thanks to our beautiful Karina and her coordinating skills everything went off beautifully! And also Thanks to her sweet assistant Allison. I think I remembered the name right. The day is kind of a blur.
I had to be at the venue by 9 am to start hair and make up along with the bridesmaids. Plus bring various décor pieces and pictures for the memory table, etc. Most important I had the charcutier board stuff and some drinks for the bridal suite.
When I get there some of the girls were already in the chair getting hair or make up started. So while they're doing that, with help I put the charcutier boards together for the grooms suite and this one for the bridal suite. Haley was testing it to make sure it all tasted good. LOL
Then I ran the bags of décor I had to the venue hall. This was 2 of the boxes to hold the bride's cake. My friend Bekki created the label. There were 4 boxes in the set but they were smaller and they were used to hold some of the cupcakes. I told Karina to use everything however she saw fit. This came out really sweet. I took one of the silly engagement pictures and put in a frame letting people know to sign in. And I went back over when the florist arrived to see what was happening. It was all starting to come together.

Everyone was busy at work.
Back to the bridal suite. Pamela getting her hair done and Chelsie was jammin out.

Isn't this just the sweetest face? This is Kate, she was the flower girl.
This is Pamela's now sister in law Sarah and Mother in law Tori. Everyone was looking all glamourous![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip8O1oDj_lsy-MlifZlLHMiCUey5JoBmH-3EHdkAusp5xwi_tbkip2MMbWJR2_ugy5Fd3rZSIXUWbsUxo1Oa-_an95xH85b25MTXYsRa0aHRsYblOGbPCe0qnEfcXj22DOCGPbszahs6qsyjDEYltjupPBaPrRlUIvpmbf2RzAiO_lFyjfxnjAhbaXf0w/s320/066-IMG_1559.JPG)
Pamela bought the bridesmaids jammies to get ready in and had their initials monogramed on the pocket. Bekki came through for the embroidery too. She had to remove the pockets, embroider them and then sew the pockets back on. Thank you sew much Bekki for all your hard work! The count down has begun. Everyone is kinda chilling before the big push. About time to start getting dressed and ready for the Photographer Rachel Driskel and her assistant. Now I was told to take off my watch and put away my phone so I put the task of taking pictures through out the day to Lesley and a fine job she did. She even got the girls to line up on the couch for a photo.
The house party and flower girl got ready first. Kate the flower girl was so adorable and the house party ladies were looking beautiful.
Mary Beth the florist brought
Pamela's bouquet to the bridal suite. Mary Beth is the owner of Fifty-Seven Bloom. The flowers were beautiful! I saw on FB today she had a bouncing baby boy. He is adorable.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7V2_XaglwA1Ai_Ra-E8gCWJzkkj5ppZthm_4_-biqLxs3jypAiroTpJPuHHdFavw9Tdlh4muQAKqR1fY7qaEFewTxKRK60j9IbnHPa9arXzcf4R2vmxHgRpZzs7Bztt2wt3Q4BCGV_plWJjYji0dFzFwJxYZjLQNboGyZK0zn4MvIODH5Azje5LkW9r4/s320/103-IMG_1614.JPG)
Then the bridesmaids got dressed. Each girl was allowed to get the style of dress they wanted that most flattered their body. The color burgundy was the only requirement. This my special photographer for this event pictured here. I'm so glad Lesley doesn't mind me assigning her this task. LOL But there are other people who I need to thank for sharing pictures they took.... Like my sister Barbara, and Cresia, one of Kaleb's Aunts, my niece Shelby B, good friends Kelli and Samara. I know there were others but my mind has gone blank. I should have taken better notes. I missed so many things and their pictures helped. And of course the beautiful bride. I'm not biased at all.
The fun part was all those buttons. Oh Lordy. Now I did use a crochet hook on most of them but that was still a slow process but I got it done.
There were so many pictures taken and then we decided Pamela might need to put on her shoes. LOL. Thanks to Marlaina her matron of honor being able to bend/squat down to get those shoes buckled. And the applying of perfume was fun. I managed to spray it in her face.
I thought this was a good picture. You could see the front and back of my hair. Naturally Flawless did an awesome job on everyone's hair and make up. There were 5 ladies there working their magic on us.
It was time for Daddy's first look. I never showed David any pictures of Pamela's dress or her in it. I wanted it to be a surprise for him and it was.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjci8GCDikyc-2uPUEo8p4HrthWfCiJwtcMCSz8DxGFpiTWcWuTmZQ981G9t8if-MNF9N2HyrLQcU4WAphvyjimpCdXtL8ojEuBPKH1SFxUk7KnfWJl5J7tDPdosmfsRHASs9y5otaEOHiuqi3NuuBxhO790WBr2PXRlCby-XfPoSWeEqYoC2PJzm-WdoQ/s320/201-IMG_E1790.JPG)
Then we took everyone outside where it was very chilly and windy for more photos.
House Party.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEZgbRQmtbj-tQym3j1u5HBkOxWxbcwzP4GGRp0f5N5pL0ts_fNIawdzerwBaDbpvBnkj53Gh9LPYCuOfgU7yboVcfPyTF0FSyrbELJWyW71tEz535tPCcfavCuYOauCqIVr0hRRxLu7vsDwn-uihpkrQ4rUFTGSUQ8e5GrbBofNggMuAhr1hMdssxcM8/s320/330-IMG_1943.jpg)
All the girls were troupers. The sun was shining but that wind was brutal.
The bride had some time for silly moments in between shots. Lovely.... LOL
I Loved this picture of Karina. She was walking by and I snapped this one. I had the phone since Lesley was busy. Love this girl. She was an awesome Day of Coordinator. KM Events She's not only super helpful she's fun. And thank you Lori Vega of Vega Transportation for catching this photo of Dad and Daughter before walking down the aisle. You're a lady of many talents.
I'll stop here for now. I'm sure you're on a photo overdose now. It's hard to decide which photos to share. There are so many to pick from. More in the next post.
Until the next post...7.
